Skelmersdale man charged with intent to supply drugs after being arrested in Southport

Following his arrest by Southport Neighbourhood Officers on 24th March, ANDREW GREEN (38) of an address in Skelmersdale has since been charged with possession with intent to supply class 'A' drugs, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.

Green has been released on bail, pending a Crown Court appearance on 24th April with the following conditions: To live and sleep at a given address in Skelmersdale, with a 7:00pm -7:00am curfew (to be monitored electronically), among other conditions. Failure to comply with these conditions will lead to his arrest.

Inspector Graham Fisher commented “Neighbourhood officers, along with specialist teams will continue to take action on those who deal drugs in Southport and attempt to profit from the misery that class ‘A’ drugs in particular have on people’s lives. The chances are, we already know who these dealers are. It’s just a question of ‘when’, not ‘if’ they are arrested as well.”
