Smoke bombs at Haig Ave as Southport slump to another defeat

Southport and Chorley's supporters once again let their clubs down by letting off smoke bombs at the match today. Southport fans behind the goal let one off as the players came onto the pitch and Chorley fans when they scored.

It was not as bad as the last meeting between the teams which ended in violence outside the ground.

The small number of Police at the match did absolutely nothing.

Southport lost 2-0  and had a man sent off.
