Southport aims to secure consecutive victories after thrilling win against Blyth Spartans

Southport will be looking at gaining back to back wins following up last Tuesday nights tense 2-1 win aaginst Blyth Spartans.

Boston United are our visitors with the kick off at the usual midweek kick off time of 7.45pm.

We are using the original Matchday Programme produced for the game that was postponed and there will be a four page insert included to update the tables and fixtures. The programme is reduced to £2 in the club shop and from sellers around the ground.

The Saturday break could have worked to our advantage with Jack Doyle, Declan Evans and Josh Hmami all getting close to full fitness again.

Boston had a fine 4-1 win at Blyth on Saturday with former ‘Port player Jake Wright getting the fourth goal deep into added time.

The visitors will be looking to avenge a 5-3 opening day of the season defeat to Southport having at one stage trailled 5-0 before a late rally.
