Southport away at Farsley Celtic on Saturday

Southport travel over The Pennines on Saturday for a rearranged fixture at Farsley Celtic, the second in a run of four consecutive games on the road.

After a disappointing defeat at Gloucester City last Saturday The Sandgrounders will be looking to put in a much better all round showing in Yorkshire. We saw the best of Southport for 30 minutes at Gloucester and the not so good for the following 60.

We have seen Dylan Vassallo go out on loan this week to Warrington Rylands and the arrival of Connor Heath from Nantwich Town.

Farsley Form Line-no wins at home so far but last Saturday had a coupon busting 2-0 win at Kidderminster.

Our record at Farsley isn’t bad, particularly in Cup games but last time out with the home side fighting for survival we suffered a 2-0 defeat with two penalties settling the game.
