Southport back in action on Tuesday evening

Southport are back in action on Tuesday evening as the games continue to come thick and fast. Banbury United are our visitors with the kick off at 7.45pm.

It will be Banbury’s first ever visit to Southport. We had a really warm welcome from the people at Banbury when we went down there back in September and look forward to being able to reciprocate on Tuesday.

Banbury ran out comfortable 3-1 winners in the return fixture and were on top from and ended that game in second place but have slipped away in recent weeks and now sit in 18th place and are without a win 11 games. Their last four games have been at home and have produced just one goal, Our last four home games have also produced one goal. Could be a tight encounter or an absolute goal fest?
