Southport Coastguard, Lifeboat and Police in search for suicidal woman in the Royal Birkdale area

The Southport Coastguard along with the Lifeboat Quads and the Police were called this morning to reports of a suicidal woman in the Royal Birkdale area.

Also on scene was the national Police Air Service helicopter along with Police drone.

Police were on scene at Weld Road and at Royal Birkdale Golf Club where the drone was being flown from.

The incident is still on going.
