Southport commuters on Merseyrail likely to be affected by Network Rail strike

On Wednesday 27 July, Thursday 18 August and Saturday 20 August national industrial action will involve Network Rail staff who operate the signalling systems that Merseyrail trains rely on to run. Therefore our services are likely to be significantly affected. We are working with Network Rail to understand the impact and will advise passengers as soon as possible.
