Southport are on their travels again on Tuesday with a trip up to the North East and a visit to Blyth Spartans.

Blyth’s game aginst Scunthorpe was called off on Saturday so it will be worth keeping an eye on the forecast which does look a bit brighter and we will bring any updates if we hear anything from the home club.

After a hard fought win in dreadful conditions at Rushall the lads will be full of confidence again and looking to move up the table with back to back wins. Harry Flowers and Josh Hmami will be available after serving their suspensions.

Tickets are on sale via the Blyth website https://blythspartans.com There will be a cash turnstile it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance to avoid queuing.

For anyone not making the trip the game is being streamed on NLTV and match passes (please state Southport as your team) can be bought HERE

The Blyth Form Line shows a much improved Spartans side this season with 5 wins and just the 2 defeats at home to Alfreton and Tamworth.

Last season after an abortive trip due to a late call off the rearranged game ended in a controversial 1-0 defeat with two goals chalked off for offside that video evidence showed quite clearly should have stood.

Our Record At Croft Park-Never been a draw.
