Southport Face Morpeth Town In FA Cup: A Repeat of the 2020-21 Season

Southport have been drawn away to Morpeth Town in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round. The tie will take place on Saturday September 16th.

We have met previously in the FA Cup, as recently as in the 2020-21 season under COVID restrictions. That game ended in a 2-1 win with Niall Watson and George Newell grabbing the goals in front of a COVID 0 attendance.

It will be our 134th tie as a NL Club. We have had 56 home draws and 53 away the rest are made up of replays.
