Southport FC: A Point Gained in Lacklustre Game Against Farsley

This is likely to be the shorest match report ever in what was a dreadful game of football with very few chances at either end.

We started well with Josh Hmami going close after 40 seconds but after that the bobbly pitch and the wind played a big part and very little else happened.

Danny Lloyd in the first half and Richie Bennet late on had half chances but overall it was a game to come away with a point and move on.

Farsley were reduced to 10 men late on but we were unable to capitalise on the man advantage and it was, as it had looked lie it was going to be from five minutes in, a stalemate.
