Southport FC Heads South for Pivotal Match Against Bedford Town

Southport head south again on Saturday for our first-ever visit to Bedford Town. The kick off is at the regular Saturday afternoon time of 3pm.

It is a big game at the lower end of the table with Bedford in 18th place four points ahead of ourselves in 20th but we do have a game in hand over our hosts. A real six pointer.

After a fantastic win at National League Eastleigh in the FA Trophy, confidence will be high for The Sandgrounders and we hope that confidence can be turned into three points on Saturday.

Manager Neil Danns was hopeful that some of the illness and injuries that ravaged his squad on Tuesday will have cleared by the weekend.
