Southport FC Mourns the Passing of Former Player and Physio Max Tompson

Southport FC are saddened to hear of the passing of former player and physio Max Tompson who died recently aged 66.

Max made 5 league starts plus 2 subs for the club between August and October 1989 and also had 4 cup starts.

He went on to become our physio and is pictured on the 1997-98 team photo second row, far right.

Our thoughts are with Max’s family and friends at this sad time.
