Southport FC Set to Extend Unbeaten Run in Peterborough Encounter

Southport hit the road again on Saturday with another long trip, this time to Peterborough Sports. The Kick Off is at 3pm.

With a six game unbeaten run in the league confidence is high in the squad and we will be looking to extend that run further on Saturday.

Manager, Jom Bentley will be running his eye over the squad in training tonight after a good workout against squires Gate on Tuesday

It will only be our second ever visit to Sports, last time out we went down to a 2-1 defeat with Chris Doyle grabbing a late goal but it was all too late.

With heavy rain forecast for the Peterborough area all day Friday and into Saturday it will be a heavy pitch to contend with.

The match referee is Isaac Searle.

Our hosts had a good 2-0 home win last time out against Banbury which put them in 21st place in the table.
