Southport FC statement after idiot runs onto the pitch

For the third time this season, members of the public have encroached onto the field of play during a match.

We have been and will continue to work with the Police to identify those responsible. These actions breach not only our Ground Regulations, but are also criminal acts. Once identified, we will not hesitate to ban these individuals from Haig Avenue and will encourage the Police to prosecute wherever appropriate.

This behaviour will not be tolerated by the Club and these individuals are not welcome at our games.
