Southport FC Welcomes South Shields for Saturday's Showdown

After an impressive four points on the road we return to The Big Help Stadium on Saturday and a visit from South Shields, kick off is at 3pm.

Considering the injuries and suspensions and a patched up team the four point haul represented a great return.

South Shields arrive in second place and boast an incredible home record, Won 8 Drawn 1 Lost 0 with just one goal against whilst on the road they have Won 1 Drawn 4 and lost 3 and conceded 16 goals.

It will be a good test for the lads who acquitted themselves so well at Blyth On Tuesday, on a heavy pitch and after a tough game at Rushall in dreadful conditions on Saturday.
