Southport Gear Up for First Encounter with Rushall Olympic

preview

Southport make their first ever visit to an in form Rushall Olympic on Saturday, the kick off is at 3pm.

With injuries and suspensions hitting hard manager Jim Bentley will be shuffling the pack.

The pitch at Rushall is 3G and we have had mixed results on the plastic with a good win at Scarborough but a bad defeat at Morpeth on the surface. We will be in our change kit for this game.

Rushall have come into form after a shaky start with Dan Waldron the one to watch. who,  after his four goals in the 5-0 win against Chorley is a man in form. This was followed up with a fine 1-0 win at Brackley and an excellent point in a 2-2 draw at another in form side, Buxton.

We are back on the road on Tuesday with a trip to the North East to face Blyth Spartans.
