Transitional arrangements have been made for catering on Saturday. There will be delicious hot food available for purchase pitchside as usual. We wish to place on record our thanks to previous caterers, Farmhouse Kitchen and wish them the best of luck for the future.

We enjoyed a resounding 4-1 win at The Walks earlier in the season on a baking hot September afternoon and Lynn come to Southport sitting in 21st place and will be looking to avenge that defeat and prevent us from recording our first double of the season.

After three disappointing results the game takes on added importance after a slip down to 18th place in the table. Jack Doyle should be available after suspension and manager Jim Bentley will be hoping the illness that has been around the club will be clearing as the lads prepare for the game and the visit to Curzon Ashton on Boxing Day.

After three defeats in a row for Lynn the rot was stopped with a 0-0 draw at home to Warrington last Saturday. The last win was an excellent 3-1 home win against league leaders Scunthorpe United on November 14th.
