Southport hit the road again on Tuesday with a trip to the North East and a visit to Spennymoor, the game kicks off at 7.45pm.

Liam hinted in his post match interview that he will be making a few changes to the line up after the excellent 2-0 win at Kidderminster on Saturday to freshen the side up. The lads are buoyant at the moment after five wins in the last six games and confidence is high.

We were very unfortunate not to come away with a point in the league game last season after a dreadful refereeing decision cost us dear. It’s not the happiest of hunting grounds but that counts for nothing, it’s how we do on the day that counts.

Spennymoor recorded their first win since the end of August on Saturday with a 2-1 home victory against high-flying Banbury. The Southport Nemesis, Glen Taylor, got both of the goals.

We return home on Saturday for the first time since October 1st with a run of five (at least) games at Haig Avenue and tickets and programmes are now on sale for all of these games.
