Support our local businesses and enjoy a fantastic half-term in Southport, say Southport Lib Dems

28th October 2025As we head into half term week, Southport Liberal Democrats are urging residents to take advantage of the many family friendly events in our town and to support the independent shops, cafés, restaurants and venues that make our local economy thrive.

Independent businesses are vital to the character, community spirit and economic health of Southport. When families come out during school holidays and choose local venues and events, it not only brings enjoyment and fun to the week but also gives a vital boost to the local economy.
