Southport Lifeboat crew rescue person stuck in the mud in the Pier channel

Our quad bikes were tasked by Holyhead Coastguard to reports of a person stuck in the mud in the pier channel. 

The ATVs proceeded to the channel where they found a person stuck in the mud.

Our crew freed the individual and escorted them back to the boathouse for a welfare check.

Our crew had just finished washing off the equipment before the quads were tasked to a male in danger of becoming cut-off by the tide at the River Alt.

The ATVs headed to the Alt where they quickly located the male and escorted him off the beach to the waiting Southport and Crosby Coastguard Rescue Teams.
