Southport lifeboat crew rescue woman from the beach early this morning

Our quad bikes were tasked by Holyhead Coastguard to search for a despondent female on Southport Beach. 

Our quads left the boathouse and headed to Southport Pier, where they found the female walking seawards. Our quads brought the casualty to safety with the assistance of Southport Coastguard, where she was then taken into the care of the police.

Our quad bikes were then stood down and returned to station.
