Southport Lifeboat Quads and Drone in search for missing child

Southport ATVs and UAS (drone) were tasked by HM Coastguard Holyhead to assist in the search for a missing child in the region of Ainsdale Nature Reserve.

The quads undertook an extensive search of the beach before focusing their efforts on the nature reserve. A similar search was carried out by the UAS.

After two hours of searching, our crew was stood down with nothing found.

Information was later received that the missing child had been located.
