Southport Lifeboat Quads called to despondent male in the sea at Ainsdale

Our crews’ pagers were activated by Holyhead Coastguard following reports of a despondent male in the water at Ainsdale.

Our quad bikes quickly left the station while the lifeboat was preparing to launch. As our quads were proceeding to Ainsdale, information was soon received that the casualty was in the care of the police and our assistance was no longer required.
