A reminder that you have to order your printed programmes online for this game.

After a hard earned point at Darlington on Tuesday in very windy conditions it will be nice to have a game a bit closer to home.

Whilst we were in the North East, Chorley had a 1-0 home win against AFC Telford United.

Chorley are  in the Play Off positions in 7th place with only one defeat at home (against AFC Fylde) and have scored 20 to 8 against which is joint best in the league. They come into the game on the back of 3 clean sheets.

Last season we went down to a  2-1 defeat despite taking the lead and it was a late goal that did the damage. There are a few former ‘Port players in the home sides squad with Adam Blakeman, Matty Challoner, Andy Owens and Jack Sampson. Steven Drench is the goalkeeping coach.

Former ‘Port boss Andy Preece is in The Magpies hotseat.
