Southport man arrested for drug driving offences

Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of drug driving following a stop check in Southport yesterday, Thursday 2 September.

At around 11.15am, officers stopped an Isuzu van on suspicion of driving offences. The driver was found to be uninsured and a ticket was issued. He was also subject of a roadside drug test and detained.

He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
