Southport man jailed for three years for burglary

Dylan Macdonald of Liverpool Road in Southport has been sentenced to 3 years in jail, after being found guilty of a burglary in Southport that took place last year.

Macdonald was also charged with 10 other offences of theft from motor vehicle, vehicle interference and criminal damage that he is still to be sentenced for.

This sentence resulted from some great work by Southport Neighbourhood Police Officers and PCSO’s who were able to link the offences to assist local investigating teams.
