Police appealed for help locating two men - Alex Rigby, 41, from Bolton and Owen Brady, 27, from Southport – and we can now confirm that a 41-year-old man has been arrested.

He was arrested in the Galgate area of Lancaster today, along with a 46-year-old woman.

However, we are still continuing to appeal for help locating Owen Brady (pictured), who remains wanted in connection with a number of burglaries across the county.

Brady is described as 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, with a beard. He also has a scar to the right side of his face and eyebrow. He has links to Merseyside, Preston, and across the east of Lancashire.

Det Ch Insp Lee Wilson, of Lancashire Police’s West Division, said: “We asked for your help locating these two men and we now have a 41-year-old man in custody.
“As a result of this there has been some police activity in the Galgate area so we want to reassure residents that it is related to this arrest and is nothing to be concerned about.
“We’d also like to thanks those who shared our appeal and called in with information.
“We are continuing to appeal for help locating Owen Brady, in connection with a number of burglaries across the county, and would ask anyone with information about where he may be to get in touch.”
