Southport MP asks residents to vote for community Pub award

Our town is full of pubs that do outstanding work for the community, so I am really pleased to support this chance for a Southport pub to be recognised as the best in the country.

Today, I am calling for nominations for this year’s Community Pub Hero awards, which recognises local pubs which go above and beyond to support their area. This could be through fundraising, hosting community events, or any other positive step to contribute to our town.

If you would like to nominate a pub for the awards, please send me a quick email with the name and a summary of the reasons for your nomination.

The deadline for submissions is 31st October, and those shortlisted will be invited to an awards event in Parliament, so do get in touch using the contact information on my website!
