Southport MP Damien Moore "Delighted" that Liverpool is awarded Eurovision

I’m delighted that Liverpool has been chosen to host next year’s Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Ukraine.
I’ve been pleased to back Liverpool’s bid, and have made clear the unique position Southport is in to provide support.

Our town has first-class accommodation and excellent transport links to Liverpool. I’m sure Southport will step-up to welcome attendees from around the world - including Ukraine.
I’m looking forward to working with partners across the region to make this event a huge success, and one which Ukraine can be proud of
