Southport MP Damien Moore slams Sefton Council for ignoring the residents' plea over damaging cycle lanes

I have consistently stood against unwanted and damaging cycle lanes being imposed on residents and businesses in our town.

Sefton Council are blindly ignoring the wishes of those affected, and I am very disappointed that their latest consultation is invite-only, and will therefore not take into account the views of thousands of others who are affected.

I have written to the Council to urge them to open up this consultation to the wider public as soon as possible, and to ensure that our town’s residents’ views are heard, as is their democratic right.
