Southport MP supports small business Saturday

Today is #SmallBusinessSaturday, a day in which we celebrate the massive contribution our local small businesses make to Southport.

You can find them everywhere - from areas in the town centre such as Lord Street, Wesley Street, and Shakespeare Street, to our town’s village shops as we have in Churchtown and Birkdale Village.

Since I became Southport’s MP in 2017, I have been privileged to meet hundreds of local business owners and hear their stories.

They truly are the backbone of our town - if you are thinking of doing some shopping today, no matter how big or how small - consider supporting a local business.
