Southport MP visits a variety of shops on Small Business Saturday

I visited a range of exciting local Southport businesses.

From the tasty chocolate Natterjack Toads at RS Fine Chocolate and innovative vegan products offered by Naked Peak, to the ever reliable Churchtown Deli and Ainsdale Fruit & Veg, and the recently expanded FPC, we are truly fortunate to have such a wonderful array of local businesses offering such fantastic products and services.

But Small Business Saturday isn't just about going to a local business rather than a national supermarket chain for one day of the year -  it’s about celebrating all they and their wonderful owners and employees do for the community and realising the value of what they offer year round.

In the run up to Christmas, think of small businesses that you could get gifts from, such as Naked Peak and RS Fine Chocolate, and support our community by shopping local and together we can ensure that these great Southport businesses that we know and love are here to stay.
