Southport MP visits Sandpipers respite hotel
I recently visited the wonderful team at Sandpipers, a respite facility on the Promenade run by Revitalise.
Sandpipers offer short-term respite breaks for adults with disabilities and their families. They operate as a resort hotel, but all rooms are fully accessible to those with additional care needs, and trained staff are always on hand to offer support.
Their brilliant stuff are supported by a dedicated team of volunteers, who have all done such fantastic work through the pandemic.
I was delighted to tour the site and learn of their exciting £3.5 million expansion plans. I will be doing all I can to support Sandpipers as they embark on this new and exciting chapter, and I have written to the Care Minister to invite her to visit this vital Southport asset.
