Southport Pleasureland reveal why they had to close due to "unforeseen circumstances"

Southport Pleasureland recently announced that they would be closed this week due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Finally the Park has revealed the reason as to why they closed so abruptly.

A message has been posted on Facebook after a disgruntled customer pestered them for an answer.

Really don't want to tell me what the problem is though do you? Bit worrying that tbf.

But it was previously open and now you are cancelling bookings and refunding and I'm asking why but you won't tell anyone; which is VERY worrying ie is there a safety issue that you are not telling your customers about?

We have a shortage of staff during the week nothing more complicated than that we are fully staffed for weekends and holidays also most schools have now returned from Easter break.
