Southport Police Aid Drunken Lady and Search for Lost Phone

While out on foot we assisted in searching for a lost mobile phone. We also assisted at the scene of a drunken female who had collapsed on Lord Street. Ambulance attended and took over her care. Later on we had to stop and speak with some young people who had been causing issues in shops around Southport town centre. All of whom were recognised by our Safer Schools Officer who was out with us today.
We also went up to Ainsdale to follow up and make some CCTV enquiries regarding the reported crossbow incident. Some more work to be continued on this tomorrow.
Elsewhere while we were out, Response and Patrol colleagues in Southport arrested a man for breaching a Domestic Violence Protection Notice and Targeted patrols arrested a man on suspicion of drug driving and possession of class 'B' drugs, among other calls for service.
The Neighbourhood late shift will now cover the rest of the afternoon and evening. while Response and Patrol will continue through the night across the whole 24 hour period.
We will be back on duty tomorrow morning (Monday)
