Southport Pool player Steve Crane qualifies to play for England in the European Championships

Steve Crane from Southport playing out of the Fleetwood Hesketh has become the latest player to join the England ranks. Steve travelled to Derby recently for the new EPA 8 ball masters trials to form a new England team.

Steve got off to bad start losing his first game 3-0 then in the next game went 2-0 down before winning 2-3. From there on he never looked back, winning all his remaining games to book his place in the England team.

Steve kicks off his England debut in Feb 2022 in Ireland playing in the European Championships.
