Southport Promenade closed to traffic as contractors start work on sink hole

Contractors have started to fix the large sink hole that appeared on Southport Promenade last week. The road was open with two way lights in operation but these have now been removed.

Repairs are expected to be finished by 6th December.

Local diversions are in operation.
