Southport Quads and UAS Aid in Search for Missing Elderly Male

CALL OUT - 05/09/25 - 21:03 - Southport Quads and UAS tasked to help in a police search for a missing elderly male in the Formby area.

Our quads carried out a tideline search from Ainsdale to Altcar, whilst our UAS team stood by whilst the NPAS helicopter was on scene.

The search stood down at 23:20 as the casualty was located safe and well, away from the area.

Also involved were Southport and Crosby Coastguard teams.
