Southport Rescue Quads and Drone called to a person in difficulty on Ainsdale Beach

Commenting on the rescue Southport Lifeboat said...

Our ATV quad bikes and UAS (drone) were tasked by HM Coastguard Holyhead to a person in difficulty in the vicinity of Ainsdale Beach.

Our quads arrived on scene and conducted a search of the beach, while the UAS launched and searched the dunes north of Shore Road.

The casualty was located by Coastguard units and transferred to a waiting ambulance with the help of the ATVs.
