Southport's 2026 Cultural Programme: A Gateway to Business Success
InvestSefton’s latest events to help local businesses make the most of Southport’s packed 2026 cultural programme take place next week.
Two sessions on Social Media are taking place at the town’s Vincent Hotel, from 5.30pm to 8pm on Monday 23rdMarch and between 10am and 12.30pm on Tuesday 24thMarch.
Aimed at everyone from novices to experts, the workshops have been designed to help companies and organisations strengthen their digital presence. Those attending will find out what and when to post, and how to stand out online.
Monday’s workshops come ahead of Cristal Palace, which will see Southport’s Town Hall Gardens transformed into a glittering open-air ballroom over the Easter weekend.

Over 100 local businesses attended the events InvestSefton events that have already taken place to help business maximise the benefit of this year’s spectacular events in Southport. The three workshops covered the topics of Developing an Experience, Social Media & Marketing and Next Level Visitor & Guest Experience.
Cllr Paulette Lappin, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Economy and Skills said:
“Sefton Council wants to make sure local businesses are in the best position to make the most of all the opportunities this 2026’s programme of new cultural events in Southport will offer.
“We received lots of positive feedback for the events that have already taken place and strongly recommend local businesses sign up for next week’s free session and further similar events we have planned for the future.”
InvestSefton will also be re-running the Hospitality & Next-Level Customer Experience on Monday 13th April from 5:30 to 8pm and Tuesday 14th April from 10am to 12:30pm at The Bold Hotel in Southport. More of these sessions will take place at The Bold Hotel on Monday 8th June from 5:30 to 8pm and Tuesday 9th April from 10am to 12:30pm.
And there will be another chance to attend the Social Media session on Monday 11th May from 5:30 to 8pm and Tuesday 12th May from 10am to 12:30pm at the Bold Hotel in Southport.
In addition, InvestSefton will be hosting a Business Drop in Sessions at The Big Onion in Lord Street from 10 am to 12 noon on Tuesday 31st March. There will be an online only session from 5pm to 7pm on the same day.
