Southport supporter to shave his head for charity

Supporters may remember back in 2009 that Steve Roberts was subjected to having his head shaved on the pitch, all in a good cause.

Well, being a glutten for punishment he is doing it all again, beard included this time….. and as you can see from the photos he has sent us below, it is about time too!

The shave will take place during half time of the Southport v Leamington game on Saturday September 24th in The Fan Zone. Don’t worry we will ensure everyone gets to see the before……………and after!

Steve is raising money for The Royal Signals Fund. They help many veterans and their families in their hour of need.

On behalf of his father Dave Roberts (ex Royal Signals) who sadly passed away aged 72 on 11th October 2020, Steve would like to repay his thanks to the Royal Signals Fund for the assistance with the funeral.
