Southport to trial a matchday live on Saturday

We are going to give Matchday Live a trial run at the Kidderminster game on Saturday.

Matchday Live is a text commentary of the game with the chance to interact with comments.

One of the reasons it was stopped was the amount of abusive comments that came through and people getting upset when we didn’t publish the negative comments about the club and team. If that happens, you will be wasting your time, your comments will be seen by the media team but they won’t get past moderation. It is going out on the official club platform!

We will have a full contingent of media volunteers at the game which makes it possible. Please respect the volunteers doing this service. We value all constructive comments and feedback but bear with us as we trial this again on Saturday. It all hinges on a decent internet connection.

Goal Updates, Half Time and Full Time Scores will still be on Twitter.
