Southport v AFC Telford United Preview
After a bad day on the road last Saturday at Alfreton, Southport return to home action with AFC Telford United the visitors. Kick Off is at 3pm.
Mid table after four games for The Sandgrounders with two wins and two defeats and a net total of 16 goals in the four games, the highest in the division.
Manager Liam Watson is hoping that he will soon have players returning from injury with Declan Evans, Josh Hmami and Niall Watson nearing full fitness again and could feature on Saturday.
There are a number of Southport connections with Telford not least the manager Paul Carden who had a 38 game spell in the Southport hot seat back in 2015. He is assisted by Southport favourite Carl Baker whose son is also in the Telford squad.
