Southport v Boston United on Tuesday evening.

Southport are back at Haig Avenue on Tuesday when they try again to get the fixture against Boston United played. Kick Off is 7.45pm.

Despite everyone’s best efforts to get the game on it fell foul of the weather in December resulting in a late call off.

Southport will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecasts for Tuesday with cold weather expected in the region once again but currently the Met Office forecast for Southport doesn’t look too bad.

Southport go into the game on the back of two defeats and still smarting from a home loss to AFC Fylde in a game that turned on a controversial 90th minute penalty award to the visitors.

Boston meanwhile had a blank Saturday with their game at Kettering called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
