Southport v Boston United Preview

Southport look to extend their unbeaten home league record on Saturday when Boston United make the long trip over from Lincolnshire. Kick Off 3pm.

Turnstiles open at 2pm along with the Fan Zone at the home end of the ground.

Southport are sitting in 17th place in the table with Boston 5th. On the road Boston have recorded wins at Bradford and Blyth. Last Saturday saw a 4-0 defeat at Chester in a game which saw the visitors reduced to nine men.

Southport have been buoyed by the last three home games which have yielded 7 points and a rise up the table from 22nd to 17th place and in Marcus Carver have a man in great goalscoring form.

We are looking forward to another entertaining game and once again we ask that you get behind the lads in the way you have all season as we look to maintain the unbeaten home record and put more points on the board.

Ahead of the game there will be a short Remembrance Day ceremony.

We also welcome Charlie Hampson as our matchday mascot. Charlie has been waiting for this day for some time but has been thwarted first by Lockdown then by games being called off. We hope you enjoy your afternoon with us.
