Southport v Darlington Tuesday Preview

 Southport have their first home league game since September 4th (52 days) on Tuesday when Darlington are the visitors. Kick Off is 7.45pm.

After a disappointing late call off of the scheduled game at Kettering on Saturday everyone is raring to get back in action and get the first win of the season on the board.

Darlington drew 1-1 with Leamington on Saturday and come to The Pure Stadium in 13th place.

Luke Charman is the man in form with 8 goals so far this season.

With Marcus Carver in great goalscoring form and performances that bely current league standing, we go into the game full of confidence and in what is a big week for the team, with three home games in a row we look forward to a great game.

George Newell and Russ Benjamin will be absent once again but it’s great to see George training with the lads again and we hope we could see him back in action late November.
