Southport v King’s Lynn Tuesday 7.45pm

The matches are coming thick and fast and we are in home action again on Tuesday evening with King’s Lynn our visitors, a fair old trek for a Tuesday.

The Linnets are flying high, just three points behind Brackley Town with three games in hand and a superior goal difference meaning a win on Tuesday would take them back to the top of the table.

Southport will be looking to keep them off that top spot as we did with Barckley last Tuesday and go into the game full of confidence.

Games against the teams in pole position on two consecutive Tuesday nights under the lights are a great test for Liam Watson’s squad and they passed with flying colours last Tuesday gaining a point and in the end the three could have come our way. A return of 7 points from the games against Chorley, Brackley and Farsley was most satisfactory.

King’s Lynn certainly look like the team to beat at present and as well as the impressive league form they had a sensational win at Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup.

Tickets are on sale HERE and order a printed matchday programme ahead of the game for either Click & Collect or posting out HERE before 2pm Tuesday.

Charlie Oliver has been sidelined for the last three games due to a niggling injury which Liam is trying to manage, he is available to play if required but is likely to be on the bench once again.

King’s Lynn Form Line is pretty impressive but it is worth noting they haven’t won away in the league since August 29th.
