After gaining the first win of the season away at Hereford on Saturday Southport will be looking to follow it up with the first home win since March 7th when we beat Blyth Spartans 2-1.

It was a full bloodied match on Saturday epitomised by Harry Flowers who was covered in blood after the game after an heroic effort in defence alongside Adam Anson. Niall Watson made the NLP Team Of The Day.

It was a great start to the new era of Jim Bentley in charge.

We will be without the suspended Josh Hmami who starts the first of his three game ban following his sending off against Chorley.
