Spennymoor Visit Haig Avenue In Vital Clash As Liam Asks For Home Support
It’s our penultimate home game of the season on Tuesday and Spennymoor are in town for a 7.45pm Kick Off.
Tickets are on sale now HERE and we are reissuing the programme that was produced for the original postponed game with a four page insert.
Liam issued a rallying call to supporters after the game at King’s Lynn with the potential new sponsors attending the game and it will be great to show them what a friendly and supportive atmosphere we can have at Haig Avenue.
Spennymoor come on the back of a 4-2 win against Kettering when Glen Taylor, a player who has scored a few against us in the past, notched all four goals to take his tally to 21 for the season. They still have an outside chance of a play off berth even from 13th place in the table, defeat would almost certainly extinguish any lingering play off hopes.
With five defeats in a row and injuries and suspensions hitting hard Liam will be all out to finish the season on a high in the remaining four games. After Tuesday we have Kidderminster at home on Saturday (also in with a play off shout), the Lancashire Challenge Trophy on Wednesday 26th at Leyland before finishing the season off with a trip down to Leamington on the final day.
