Tesco Express closed after attempted ram raid

Tesco Express on Liverpool Road in Birkdale remains closed this afternoon after an alleged attempted ram raid during the night.

It is unknown whether anything was stolen during the raid. The store's doors were damaged and are being repaired as quickly as possible to enable the store to reopen.
